The collections kept by the Enfield Local Studies and Archive Local Studies cover the records of the London Borough of Enfield, the former boroughs of Edmonton, Southgate and Enfield and the various institutions and organisations that came before them. The collection covers centuries of Enfield’s history and contains thousands of different documents dating from 1277. It is a varied assortment of materials and includes: printed materials and books, hand-written documents, photos, maps, plans, charts, prints and drawings. Images of some records and photographs have been added onto the catalogue and more images will be added in the future.
